I am a fourth-year PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Groningen supervised by dr. Pim Heijnen, prof. dr. Marco Haan, and dr. Florian Wagener. In the Winter of 2026, I visited KU Leuven, hosted by dr. Sareh Vosooghi. In the Winter of 2025, I visited McGill University in Montreal, hosted by prof. dr. Hassan Benchekroun.

I obtained a MRes in Economics and a BSc in Econometrics and Operations Research from the University of Groningen.

I want to better understand situations where agents (firms, countries or households) interact strategically over time. In general, my research focusses on such situations in environmental and resource economics and industrial organization, with applications to climate disasters, non-renewable resources, imperfect competition and intertemporal decision making under hyperbolic discounting.

Feel free to reach out to me!
