Claudia obtained her MSc degree in medicinal chemistry at the University of Pisa (Italy), during which time she conducted a research project in the Roelfes group on the synthesis of a siderophore-thiostrepton conjugate for targeting Gram‑negative bacteria. In October 2020, she started her PhD in the Roelfes group, focused on artificial enzymes. In her free time, she likes a variety of sports including playing beach volleyball, running, and cooking.
