Welcome to my webpage, where you will find information about my research, projects, training and outreach activities.
My lines of research cover:
Theoretical aspects of mathematical analysis: functional, variational and convex analysis; the relationship between dynamics in continuous and discrete time, with an emphasis on discrete approximation of nonlinear semigroups.
Asymptotic analysis: geometry and the convergence of processes in continuous and discrete time; complexity of optimization algorithms and their acceleration.
Applications of optimization, operations research and machine learning techniques to real-world problems motivated by interactions with non-academic partners, especially in images, mining and healthcare management.
