I am an associate professor at the University of Groningen working on empirics of economic growth and macroeconomic development.
I am also a consultant for the World Bank, a visiting researcher at Statistics Netherlands (CBS), a research fellow at the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies (wiiw) and a fellow at the Global Labor Organization.
My research contributes to the Horizon Europe "Twin Seeds" project and I manage a NWO research project on export quality in global value chains.
