Associate Professor of Macroeconomics
University of Groningen
On the move to Webster Vienna Private University
I am an associate professor of macroeconomics with expertise in economic growth, productivity, and macroeconomic development strategies.
I am also a regular consultant for the World Bank and United Nations, a visiting researcher at Statistics Netherlands (CBS), a research fellow at the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies (wiiw) and a fellow at the Global Labor Organization.
My research contributed to the Horizon Europe "Twin Seeds" project and I managed a NWO research project on export quality in global value chains.
My op-ed on industrial policy and aggregate productivity (with Jacopo Canello) has been published in Wirtschaftsdienst [link, in German; English version here].
As of late August, I will start a position at Webster Vienna Private University.
