CREA 2024 in Liverpool, is a day-long workshop for interdisciplinary knowledge exchange on arts and aesthetic research to inspire and innovate practice in both academic and real-world contexts.
The workshop aims to:
(1) enhance collaboration between researchers in empirical aesthetics, arts institutions, and museums
(2) co-develop interventions with curators and artists for conducting empirical research in museum and art gallery settings
(3) reimagining the future of museum and gallery experiences through empirical aesthetics and collaborative innovation
Each session, lasting 90 minutes, will facilitate deep dives into these themes, beginning with brief introductions by leading experts followed by group discussions and interactive exercises.
