Mr. Budhi Man Tamang holds a Bachelor of Science in Organic Agriculture from the College of Natural Resources, Royal University of Bhutan, where he graduated in June 2023. Shortly after graduation, he joined Bhutan Agro Industries (BAIL) in Thimphu as an Agriculture Extension Officer. During his six months at BAIL, he worked at both the Wangchutaba Plant in Thimphu and Lingmethang Plant in eastern Bhutan. In his role within the Farmers Support Department, He gained diverse experiences, working closely with farmers from various backgrounds and engaging with multiple stakeholders. His responsibilities included managing organic certifications for farms, sourcing raw materials, conducting farmer outreach programs, and gaining insights into the operations of food processing industries. Additionally, he is a trained ISO internal auditor.

In March 2024, Mr. Tamang returned to the College of Natural Resources as the Farm Manager. In this position, he oversees the smooth operation of the livestock, MAP garden, landscaping and campus beautification, agriculture farm, and forest nursery while actively collaborating with students from various programs. In addition to his professional responsibilities, he is passionate about enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the college and strives to create a more visually inviting and engaging campus environment.
