NeXT STEPS
SMALL GROUP PLAN:
"DISRUPTORS OF INJUSTICE"

WHAT IS IT?

After running the Justice Experience at the last two Life Conferences, we have created a 4 part (month long) video driven small group series to help students (and adults) take the next steps in bringing God's Kingdom of Justice to Earth. This series is intended for weekly meetings, and also includes a 30 day Justice Liturgy: an opportunity for your community to fast, pray and study scripture daily for the full month as we, together, pursue God's truth about justice and our involvement in HIS Kingdom work.

Each small group session lasts between 30 minutes and one hour, and includes a PDF handout for each student. The handout also includes a comprehensive resource kit to further help your community take next steps in advocating for the oppressed and needy in your own communities, and all across the world.

What if we didn't participate in the Justice Experience?

No problem. This small group series is a great opportunity for anyone interested in understanding Justice and becoming a modern day abolitionist.

Can I trust the content (Is this promoting the Social Gospel)?

This content was developed by C&MA pastors and missionaries and is in line with the denomination's (and the Scriptures) positions regarding the gospel, social justice, and meeting the needs of the oppressed. We firmly believe that all social works must flow out of the Deeper Life of faith in Christ, and this small group series spends the first 2 (of 4) sessions to dig deep into scripture, and understanding the importance of rooting our external work as the outflow of our communion and relationship with Christ.
