This second winter/summer school offers a collaborative online platform for reflecting on and advancing the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of digital learning in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). As more institutions adopt online and blended teaching models, it is vital to ensure that digital courses are not only well-designed but also effectively implemented, monitored, and improved based on meaningful feedback and evaluation processes.

Key themes will include strategies for evaluating online teaching and learning, assessing participant engagement, collecting and interpreting feedback data, and using monitoring tools to inform continuous course improvement. The programme also builds on the foundational work from the first summer school, focusing on the integration of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) into digital course design.

Participants will engage in critical discussions on what constitutes quality in online learning, share lessons learned from their own course development processes, and explore frameworks and tools to support evidence-based reflection and improvement. The summer school will also provide opportunities for showcasing developed course modules, exchanging peer feedback, and identifying common challenges and solutions across institutions.
