Dr. Kathryn D. Tria, the Dean of the College, has a strong and well-rounded educational background. She started with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at Rizal Technological University, which she completed in 1995. After that, she took up her Master in Business Administration at Jose Rizal University and finished it in 1999. These early achievements gave her a solid foundation in business and finance.
In 2003, she went abroad to study and earned a Master of Arts in Korean Economy at Kyung Hee University in South Korea. This helped her gain a wider view and understanding of international economics. To complete her academic journey, she earned her Doctor in Business Administration at Jose Rizal University in 2010. Her strong academic background shows her commitment to learning and leadership in the field of business education.
Dr. Jessie F. Sergote started his educational journey with a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English, which he finished at Rizal Technological University in 2007. He continued his studies in business and completed his Master in Business Administration in 2013 also at Rizal Technological University. In 2018, he earned his Doctor in Business Administration from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
In 2023, Dr. Sergote added more to his qualifications by finishing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Human Resource Management, at CAP College Foundation Inc. That same year, he also achieved his Doctor of Philosophy major in Educational Management from Lyceum-Northwestern University. His strong educational background shows his dedication to both teaching and business.
Instr. Francis B. Banaag earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Rizal Technological University. He is currently working towards a Doctor of Business Administration. He has 14 years of progressive career in human capital management and development of strategies relevant to business operations in the industry of Global Security Services, Financial Technology (FinTech), Health, to name a few.
He rose through the ranks to become a Senior Manager for Corporate Services (HR, Finance, and Administration) from being a Human Resources Generalist, Payroll Supervisor, Timekeeping, Benefits, and HRIS Manager, Finance Manager, Human Resources Manager. He is a member of the Philippine Association of Researchers and Statistical Software Users (PARSSU), Professional Organization of Researchers and Educators of the Philippines (POREP), Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and Certified Marketing Professional from Sales and Marketing Institute (SMI). He currently completing courses in Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst from Corporate Finance Institute (CFI), completed trainings in Paralegal from University of the Philippines (Diliman), Post Graduate Diploma in Organization Development at Dela Salle St. Benilde (Disciplines and Tools for Organizational Efficiency, Corporate Communication in Organizational Culture and Development, Executive Leadership and HR Management in OD, Systematizing Excellence in Operations for Strategic Effectiveness, Structuring Organization for Strategy Execution, Managing OD Essentials for Breakthrough Results), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt – Six Sigma PH (HighClere Six Sigma Consulting Inc.) and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (Whitehall Bradford Management Consulting Inc.). He also attended five (5)-day sessions for ISO 9001 : 2015 Quality Management System Lead Auditor Course (at SGS Philippines, Inc.).
