I am a graduate of RTC in 1996. After graduating I went to school at Texas A & M Kingsville then on to Texas A&M. I graduated from there in 2002 with a degree in Rangeland Ecology. After working at field level for many years, I decided to get my alternative certificate to become a teacher so I could inspire our children about Science. I have 3 children, 1 of which attends RTC. I recently became a grandmother and enjoy spending time with her. Today I am excited to be the 4, 5, and 6th grade Science teacher. This has been a fantastic experience to work with students and staff at RTC. It brings great joy to watch them get excited every time we work on a lab, use our smartboard or chromebook, or relate history and science to their experiences. I can not wait to see what this year brings!
