My name is Mrs. Venghaus (formerly Miss Hoffmann) and I am excited to be starting my 10th year of teaching at Round Top-Carmine High School.  I graduated from Sam Houston State University (Go Bearkats!) with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Social Studies. 

This year I will be teaching 8th Grade Social Studies, World History, US History and Psychology and Sociology.  I also serve as the Yearbook Advisor.  During my time at RT-C, I have also taught Government and Economics, World Geography, Texas History, Health, and Professional Communications.

Outside of school, I LOVE doing arts and crafts!  I also enjoy fishing, listening to audiobooks (Stephen King is one of my favorites), going to concerts, and trying new recipes.
