My name is Mrs. Venghaus and I am excited to be starting my 13th year of teaching at Round Top-Carmine High School.  I graduated from Sam Houston State University (Go Bearkats!) with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Social Studies. 

This year I will be teaching 8th Grade Social Studies, World History, and US History.  I also serve as the Yearbook Advisor.  During my time at RT-C, I have also taught Government and Economics, World Geography, Texas History, Health, Psychology and Sociology, and Professional Communications.

Outside of school, I enjoy doing arts and crafts and acquiring far too many plants.  I also enjoy fishing, listening to audiobooks (Stephen King is my favorite author), going to concerts (Metallica will be incredibly hard to top), trying new recipes, and spending time with my family.
