At Home Learning Resources

Parents often ask me what they can do at home to help their student succeed. I have included some online resources that you can use at home to help keep your child engaged in their learning.

Websites and Apps

Jack’s music is research-based and teacher approved to focus on helping children learn important state, national and early childhood standards.  All of Jack’s songs and videos engage children with not only great educational content, but with cool beats kids love and fun movements.

Kristin is an elementary school teacher who has created videos that follow along with our Eureka Math curriculum. If students are absent or need some extra help (or if you're looking to see how we use math language in our lessons) this is a great resource!

ABC Mouse is the #1 Online Learning Program with over 10,000 learning activities! Students can earn time on their iPads to use this app at school (it's not something that we use every day). Students will get a free ABC Mouse account at school, but if they'd like to use it at home, you will have to purchase it.

Happy Numbers is a Math website that carefully scaffolds lessons to help build a strong math foundation. The learning games follow along with our Eureka Math curriculum. We use Happy Numbers if we have extra time or when students are completing 1:1 Math Assessments with me. I will send home your student's Happy Numbers login information if they would like to use it at home.

Letter School is a free app that helps students with their letter and sound identification. If students have access to an iPad or tablet at home, they can use this app to also practice their letter formation. You can download this app for free on the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Students will have an Epic account at school where they will have access to free books! With their school account, Epic only allows them to view and listen to books during "school hours." If you'd like your student to have access to this at home, you will have to purchase it.
