Language Arts - Reading 65 minutes
Language Arts - Writing 120 minutes
Mathematics 90 minutes
Science 80 minutes
Social Studies 70 minutes

What are the test questions like?
Please click on the HiSET Sample Questions to get an idea of what the questions will be like. All of the tests are multiple choice questions, with the Writing test also having an essay prompt. Before you schedule an Official HiSET test, you will take a pre-test in class to see how prepared you are to pass the official test.
Free online classes
If you are interested in a subject, you can take college-level (non-credit) courses or workforce preparation courses for free online!
