About the Artist
Lauren is currently a senior attending Freeport High School. For about six years, Lauren has been taking weekly private illustration lessons at an art studio in Portland. Her main focus is graphite illustrations but she has interest in branching out into different mediums, such as 3D design and painting. Currently, Lauren draws her inspiration from different species of birds and aspects of nature. Lauren's main career aspiration is to become a professional freelance illustrator. She plans on attending art school and studying for her bachelor's degree in illustration. Lauren is constantly striving to improve her skills and practice new techniques.
