Draw What you Hear- Need a plain blank paper to begin

Drawing what you hear and connecting sounds to colors and patterns is a great way to understand how each part of a song works together. It's also a nice way to listen to different genres of music and hear types that you might have never listened to before. So get out some colored pencils, markers, or any other art materials that you have, designate each sound or instrument a color, and let your ears take over. Don't think too hard about if your piece looks good, all you want to be thinking about is the sounds and how they come together to form music.
