(Class A, Class B, Upgrade to Class A, Passenger and School Bus Endorsement options)
The Class A course will consist of one hundred forty-eight (148) hours of instruction. Seventy-eight (78) hours of classroom instruction and twenty-six (26) hours of lab experience to prepare for the State CDL Class B written and skills exam and forty-four (44) hours of driving instruction to prepare students for the State Road Test. Tuition : $4750
The Class B course will consist of seventy-two (72) hours of instruction. Forty-two (42) hours of classroom instruction to prepare for the State CDL Class B written and skills exam and thirty (30) hours of driving instruction to prepare students for the State Road Test. Tuition: $3500
The Class B Upgrade to Class A course will consist of seventy (70) hours of classroom instruction to prepare for the State CDL Class A written and skills exam and behind the wheel instruction until proficient. (up to 20 hours). Tuition: $3000
The passenger and school bus endorsement will consist of sixteen (16) hours of classroom instruction and behind the wheel instruction until proficient (up to 20 hours). Tuition: $1500 ($500 if combined with license training).
The registration fee covers: class and drive time, permit fee, bus endorsement, DOT physical examination, one state driving test (including use of the vehicle for testing purposes) and drug testing.

Maine Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Family Independence offers The Higher Opportunities for Pathways to Employment (HOPE) Program to qualifying parents who are pursuing training and education beyond high school that results in industry-recognized certificates or licenses.
