Eastern Aroostook Adult & Community Education (EAACE) is proud to serve the communities of Aroostook County by offering flexible, affordable, and high-quality learning opportunities for adults of all ages. As part of Maine’s statewide network of adult education programs, we are committed to helping individuals achieve their personal, academic, and professional goals—whether that means earning a high school credential, advancing in the workforce, or exploring new skills and interests.
Our programs are designed to meet the diverse needs of our community. We provide High School Diploma and HiSET preparation, giving students the opportunity to complete their secondary education. For those pursuing higher education, our College Transitions program helps students prepare for success in college-level courses.
Through our Workforce Training programs, learners gain hands-on skills that lead directly to high-demand careers. EAACE is proud to be the only adult education center in Aroostook County offering training for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), CNA with Medication certification, and the Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) program—opening the door to stable and rewarding career pathways close to home.
In addition, we offer English as a Second Language (ESL) and literacy programs that support adult learners in building confidence, improving communication, and opening doors to further education and employment.
We also believe that learning should be enriching and enjoyable. Our Enrichment Classes—ranging from quilting and woodworking to welding and other creative skills—provide opportunities for personal growth, connection, and fun.
At EAACE, education is about more than classes—it’s about building brighter futures. Local, affordable, and designed to fit into busy lives, our programs make it possible for every learner to take the next step. We invite you to explore our courses, join our supportive learning community, and see where lifelong learning can take you.
