Entering or enrolling in a construction-related field of study at an accredited Maine post-secondary institute

Maine Driver Education Association (MEDEA) Scholarships - Click here for application

One scholarship for a first-year, full-time student. This student must have been instructed in driver education by an instructor that was a member of MEDEA at the time of the driver education course. The name of the driving school and instructor is required.
A second scholarship, The Mike Sirois Scholarship, is for any MEDEA family member entering any academic year. The name of the family member and affiliated driving school is required. Please note your relationship to the MEDEA member.
Include a photocopy of the top half of your blue or white Course Completion Certificate/Temporary Permit.

Awards Available: Four-year renewable $3,000-$25,000 scholarship based on financial needs
Prerequisites & Requirements

Maine resident with plans to enroll in a four-year degree program at an accredited, non-profit private or public college or university
Strong academic record throughout high school
Involved in a balance of community, school, and work activities
Must complete one Economics course and two of any of the following courses before completing college: Accounting, Finance, History, or Psychology

Peter J. Kavalauskas Memorial Scholarship: One (1) $5,000 scholarship is awarded to an applicant who plans to attend or is currently attending an accredited program through a technical institute, vocational school or trade school. Essay required. See application for more details.

- Roger G. Marois & Bart M. Dalla Mura Memorial Scholarships: Two (2) $3,000 scholarships awarded to High School Seniors who have a strong GPA, volunteer regularly, and will attend a 2 or 4-year accredited college or technical school after graduation. - Philip W. Sullivan Memorial Scholarship: One (1) $5,000 scholarship awarded to a High School Senior in the top 25% of their class, who shows a high-level of commitment to extracurricular activities and plans to attend a 2 or 4-year accredited college or technical school after graduation. - Nourish Scholarships: Ten (10) $2,500 scholarships awarded to High School Seniors who show a commitment to their community while maintaining their academics. Essay required. See application for more details.
- Lighthouse Community Baacon Scholarship: One (1) $10,000 scholarship awarded to an applicant who is dedicated to their academics and creating meaninfgul change in their communities. Exclusively focuses on applicants pursuing a career that aligns with our mission to address critical needs in Housing, Food Insecuirty, and/or Education.
