• Awards Available:

  • • • State level: $1,500, $500, $300, $125

      • National level: $25,000, $22,500, $20,000, $2,000

• Prerequisites & Requirements

  • • • Competition begins at local level, then state and national if you qualify

      • 8-10 minute speech must be on the subject of the U.S. Constitution, with some emphasis on the duties and obligations of citizens to the government

      • 3-5 minute speeches on an assigned topic are also part of contest

UMaine Pulp & Paper Scholarship - Click here for application

• Awards Available: Full and partial tuition scholarships available for high school students attending the UMaine College of Engineering program

• Prerequisites & Requirements

  • • • Minimum GPA: 3.0

      • Minimum SAT score: 1100

      • Active interest in a career in pulp and paper or supplier industries by participating in:

      • Chinn Management Seminars, Student Organization membership, Co-op job or internship after the sophomore year of study
