April Vacation Reading/STEM Challenge! Listen to one or more of Mrs. Reesman’s Outside read alouds and send her a photo (with you in it) enjoying the great outdoors over break! All students who send in a photo will be put into a drawing for a copy of “Are You Ready To Play Outside” by Mo Willems, “Finding Wild,” or “Run Wild!” Look below for some outdoor activity suggestions for this vacation! Don’t limit yourself to these, these are merely suggestions! There is also a Peep STEM activity sponsored by Family Engagement Funds. Build a boat for your peep and find a puddle or running stream (with an adult present) to test your boat and keep your peep afloat!5th graders at OTES went on a hunt around the non-fiction section in a race with their team to be the first team to find four books on certain topics!
