What?

The writing center is a group of tutors that help you develop your writing. We will sit down and have a discussion with you about your writing and ask you questions to help you brainstorm ideas and find ways to improve your writing. We DO NOT do any writing for you. All of the writing is done by you.

Where?

The writing center is available for conferences in room B204, the library, and in study halls.

I'm Roz! I'm a senior and this is my third year in the writing center. I believe that through our work, we can foster your confidence as a writer. I am happy to work on any type of writing! My favorite word is "serendipitous"

Abby Gurney (Senior)

I am a senior, I love helping writers develop strong outlines to guide their work. Whether you're brainstorming ideas or refining a draft, I enjoy collaborating with all groups of people to bring their creative visions to life. Outside of writing, I have a variety of hobbies and stay active in volunteer work. I'm excited to work with you and help you achieve your writing goals!

Annie Clarke (Senior)

I'm Annie, a senior at OHS, and this is my second year of being a writing center partner. When I'm not participating in the writing center, I enjoy singing, eating dessert, crafting, and hanging out with friends! Classes I have taken/are taking that might be helpful for others are AP Seminar, AP Biology, AP Research, and AP Literature. I hope to meet with you soon!

Maria Stone (Sophomore)

Maria is a Sophomore at OHS and participates in Volleyball, the Environmental Club, and the Key Club. Maria has been to many countries and loves to travel.

Evelyn is a sophomore at OHS. She is part of the Environmental Club, Spanish Club, and Math Team. She also participates in her school and club swim teams and teaches swim lessons at the YMCA.
