On December 16th, Nokomis Regional middle school will be opened to the public for our Maine Sampler. Maine Sampler is when all the 8th graders in nokomis make a home made product to sell.
The rice filled sock with fabric and googly eyes is modeled after the moose. Maine is one of the few states that are lucky enough to have moose living in it. They're pretty hard to find and you're lucky if you ever do see one, because they are amazing to see in person. Full grown moose are extremely large and make humans look tiny.
