Art 1

Art 1 includes students grades 9-12 and is a beginner exploratory art class where students learn a variety of art skills and mediums. This year they have completed the following projects: Charcoal still life drawing, Surrealism inspired pencil drawing including hands, an identity self portrait, Oil pastel silhouettes, Independent art with a focus on creating meaning, and a variety of sketchbook assignments. The art below was created by Art 1 students this year. They should all be very proud of the incredible work they have created during this year!

The final step was to create a virtual exhibit that showcased art work from their chosen art movement.
