To ensure that students become effective and responsible users of ideas, resources, and information that will allow them to think, create, share, and grow, and to promote lifelong learning and a love of reading.

                                                                                               To support the mission and vision of the school

                  To expose students and staff to great books

To model and promote creative, effective, and collaborative teaching

To integrate the teaching of research and information skills into the curriculum in order to help promote student achievement

To support learning and encourage personal growth of all students

To be a leader in the use of technology and Web 2.0 tools

To provide access to information, ideas, and resources

The Library & Information Center is a central resource of learning inquiry.

The primary goal of the center is to promote student achievement by supporting the mission and belief statements of 

Poland Regional High School and Bruce M. Whittier Middle School.
