Altitude Teacher

Mrs. Anderson, some students call her “Ms. Andy,” has been teaching for over 30 years and loving it!  She has supported students in grades 6th, 7th, and 8th teaching reading, writing, and social studies and presently alternative education. She has also had the fortunate opportunity to “loop” with her students (have them 2 years in a row) on several occasions and appreciated her connections to students and families. To further support her community through the years she has been a volunteer/coach for ages 4-18 in various sports - soccer, basketball, swimming, baseball and softball.  Her undergraduate work was at USM and she obtained her Master’s in Education from the University of New England. Her favorite places to travel were British Columbia, Switzerland, and Austria. When she is not teaching, you will find her spending time with her husband Eric and sons, Mitchell and Spencer. She enjoys morning coffee on her front porch, playing pickleball, riding on a motorcycle with her husband, kayaking, or breathing in the fresh air and taking in a sunset - so much to do!
