Week four saw the temperatures rise a bit, so we were finally able to get playing outside more often.  Students got their HEART rates up with beach ball relays:

South school students know you can't spell HEART without art!  Our wonderful art teacher, Mr. Whenke lead students in heart-themed art projects throughout the week:

Our favorite part of WinterKids has to be our first ever Winter Carnival and Field Day!  All South School staff and students spent an entire morning outside as a celebration of the WinterKids program.  Sledding, snowman making, relay races, snowshoeing, and dancing were just a some of the activities students took part in.  South School showed a lot of HEART working together to make it all happen!
