Morse Drama creates opportunities for students to participate in a wide variety of theater activities, from production to performance, and presents productions for the enrichment and enjoyment of the RSU1 and area community. Morse Drama works to expose students to a variety of theatre skills and quality theatrical experiences to develop into lifelong artists and audience members.
Morse High School is a member of the Educational Theatre Association's International Thespian Society with 24 current members.
The International Thespian Society is the only theatre honor society for high school students in the United States. Affiliation brings credibility and distinction to students, theatre programs, and schools. Students must participate in over 100 hours of work on productions, fundraising, advocacy, or leadership to gain membership. ITS recognizes, rewards, and encourages student achievement and celebrates the work of students in all aspects of theatre – performance and production. Each student is honored on a national level and gains access to opportunities and resources beyond those of their school.
