Sonya Ferguson
Sonya Ferguson
Mrs. Ferguson has been the band director at Erwin Middle School since January 1997! She received her Bachelor of Music Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and her Masters of Music Education from East Carolina University. She has been a National Board Certified teacher since 2002 and was Erwin Middle School's 2022 Teacher of the Year. She resides in Salisbury with her husband, Chris (also a band director and composer) and their two sons, Thomas and James.

Parents can meet with Mr. Ken Davis of Music & Arts on April 23rd at 5:30pm in the Erwin Middle School cafeteria to meet Mrs. Ferguson, sign up for band, get answers to questions, and reserve an instrument!
