I am Mr. Vlieger and I am so excited for the 2024-25 school year to begin!  This is my 22th year of teaching, and this year will mark my 11th year at Risen Savior, teaching fifth and sixth. I graduated in 2002 from Martin Luther College with a B.S in Education, Go Knights!

I have previously taught fifth through eighth grade at Prairie Lutheran in Fairfax, MN and fourth and fifth at Lafayette Charter School. I have 4 children, 2 of them are be attending Risen Savior this year and I will have two in highschool at MVL.  My wife and I have lived in the Mankato for 16 years.

In my free time I enjoy reading a good book, and tinkering with technology.
