Should I become a Gateway Reader Selector? 

Yes! If you LOVE reading, and you've read a lot of the Gateway books in previous years (or you just love YA in general), you SHOULD become a Gateway Reader/Selector. 

What does that involve? 

You get to help choose the final 15 Gateway nominees by reading from the list of 25 preliminary titles (a minimum of 8-12 titles suggested) between the release of the preliminary list in mid-August through early January.  Reader Selectors rate those titles on a scale of 1-5 (5 being the best). 

Who can do participate? 

Reader/Selectors can be anyone - students, teachers, librarians, parents, etc.
