Coach Peggy Levine is in her 10th year coaching cheer at Lafayette. After cheerleading in high school, she went on to coach the Hockey Cheer Squad at Iowa State University for three seasons. Coach Levine received her BA in Political Science from Iowa State, and her Master's degree in Public Policy from UMSL. She works at Bayer US in Government Affairs.
Coach Levine and her husband, Bill, have three sons that are all Lafayette graduates: Will is an architect, Patrick is a teacher, and John is a US Army Combat Medic.
"I coach to encourage these girls to work hard and have fun. I hope to spread my love of cheerleading to them and help them to learn the skills they need to be the best they can be. I strive to be a good role model for them and enhance their dedication to our team. I have high standards for these young ladies socially, morally, and academically.”
Coach Cari Knox is an Elementary Education graduate from Webster University. She was a cheerleader in high school as well as a dancer and gymnast. She cheered for the St. Louis Rams and was a Game Day Cheerleader coordinator for the Rams for ten years. She coached cheer at Lafayette in 2008-2011 and started the Cheer for Charity event. Cheer for Charity is an annual event hosted by the Lafayette Cheerleaders for the Ronald McDonald House Charity. She currently coaches the Jr. Lancer Cheer squad of 2024.
Coach Knox lives in Wildwood with her husband Garrett and 4 children - Sadi, Sydni, Lukas and Sage.

Coach Trankle is in her 7th year coaching at Lafayette, and is also a Language Arts teacher. She graduated with her BA in English from Fontbonne University. In high school, Sarah cheered all four years. Sarah and her husband, John, live in St. Louis with their two sons, Gabe and Sam.
