The purpose of this organization shall be to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character in the students of secondary schools.
Junior and senior students, who meet the initial prerequisite of a 3.5 or higher GPA, are invited to join National Honor Society each Fall. Society members are students who have distinguished themselves in the areas of Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character. The Society participates in numerous service activities.​
