Hi there, I'm Sam!
I'm a 90s baby with a huge heart for all living things. I am living in High Ridge, MO with my newly-wed husband, a mischievous rescue pup, two snuggly cats, a happy leopard gecko, a sleepy hamster, and 20 plus noisy chickens. Oh, and I can't forget the plants in every window! Along with that, I spend most days with more than 100 children and a whole ecosystem of fish as a middle school science teacher. Needless to say, I am living in bliss and happy to be able to dip into the creative world with my art and love for heartbeats and greenery.
My history with art consists of independent exploration and an interest in creativity. As a young girl, I fell in love with animals, specifically horses and dogs. That fascination led to the head first dive into my own world of art, mostly drawing with a little painting, and I continued to explore my artistic abilities through school. One of my favorite avenues, I discovered is working with ceramics! As a young adult, I kept myself busy with school, work, and relationships, so I did not have much time to work creatively. I am happy to be at a place in life to be able to continue my long love for creating and sharing with others.
