I am a fourth grade teacher at Sequoyah Elementary!  This will be my nineteenth year teaching fourth grade.  I have known I wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl!  

I am originally from Portland, a small town in southeast Arkansas.  I moved to Russellville to attend college at Arkansas Tech University.  I graduated from ATU in 2005 with an education degree.  I am a graduate of Arkansas Leadership Academy and I am a Nationally Board Certified teacher.   

My goal as a teacher is to provide a safe and fun environment for students as they grow and discover what type of learner they are.  I strive to provide my students with a solid foundation that will set them up to achieve any goal that they might have. 

I enjoy spending time with my family, crafting, and having family movie nights. I have been married for fourteen years to Mr. Jason.  We have an twelve-year-old girl named Emmalyn and a six-year-old boy named Porter.
