  • See Ms. Giarnella in the counseling office for any printed materials that were handed out.

  • Counselors are presenting to seniors in advisory on Wednesday, 9/3 and Wednesday, 9/10 in small groups of about 15 or so students. 

  • The presentation was shared with students so that they may reference it for information as they navigate the college and career planning process.

  • Counselors check in with juniors in Health 2 classes to review important pieces regarding the post-secondary planning process. 

  • This occurs just before the HKHS College Fair in late March/early April.

Information shared by a student with their counselor is private and confidential. Counselors have an excellent reputation for maintaining confidentiality. In a situation where a student is in "clear and imminent danger" or in cases of child abuse or neglect, counselors are mandated to break confidentiality with the goal of keeping our students safe.
