Hi! My name is Tracy Anderson Gruber. I graduated from Webb High School in Reedsburg in 1988 and attended college at the universities in La Crosse, Baraboo, and Madison working towards my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.
In 1993, I began my classroom work and was able to work in the schools for almost ten years, mostly in Reedsburg teaching 8th grade social studies and math. After the birth of our second child, we decided it would be best for our family if I was not working full time so I resigned from Webb Middle and for 15 years I was luckily enough to focus on raising our two sons who are now young adults. Throughout those years, I had the opportunity to engage in some non-traditional educational situations and complete my Master’s degree in School Counseling through Concordia University-Wisconsin.
I have learned so much over the years raising our boys, working in a wide variety of other settings, traveling the country and practicing new skills like yoga and cooking. I bring the knowledge and experiences gained in these years back to the students and parents of our district.

Having two counselors at Webb allows us to offer many student services, develop community outreach, and integrate the counseling components of academic growth, social/emotional learning and career exploration throughout the school. We meet with students individually, lead classroom activities, monitor students' social skills in hallways and at lunch, create and develop Academic and Career Plans (ACP) for each student, participate in community educational opportunities, attend meetings and consult with teachers, parents, and outside professionals.
Our focus at each grade level is about helping students be successful at school, navigate the difficult ups and downs of adolescence, and develop an understanding of themselves as it pertains to future plans. We look forward to continuing to expand our services and increase our presence at school. If you have any questions or needs, please do not hesitate to contact us!
