Math Syllabus

MATH 180 is a research-based program with proven results in raising student math achievement. The program uses cutting-edge technology to deliver individualized math instruction, provide valuable skills practice, and motivate students to develop confidence and fluency in math. In our MATH180 class, we will work together to:

• Build essential math skills for future educational experiences and career readiness.
• Bring student math proficiency up to grade level.
• Develop mathematical practices and habits of mind.
• Apply math skills to solve real-world problems.
• Show each student that he or she can be successful in math.

Parent involvement is key to your child’s success in education. Students will not have regular math homework assigned in class. Students are encouraged to access the Math 180 Brain Arcade at home.
