6th Grade Guidelines

1. Students are expected to have their work completed by the assigned due date. Late work will remain a zero if it is not turned in prior to the completion of the current unit.

*Any assignments turned in late will receive up to an 80%.

*Homework is accepted up to two days before the end of the unit test.

2. Students are responsible for missing work due to absence. Continue to check Google Classroom daily as well as the Homework Board on this website and talk to your teachers when you return. Also, make sure previously assigned work is turned in the day you return.

3. Grading:

100 A+ 99-93 A 92 A-

91 B+ 90-84 B 83 B-

82 C+ 81 -75 C 74 C-

73 D+ 72-66 D 65 D-

Sixth grade families can access grades through the Skyward grading program. You received your login information in your folder at registration. If you have misplaced this information you can contact the middle school office.

4. You will not see grades posted for health. Health isa pass/fail class.

1. Follow directions the first time.

2. Respect others and their property.

3. Bring needed materials with work completed on time.

4. Be on time, in seat, and ready to work.

5. Raise hand to be recognized before speaking.

Step 1- Verbal warning

Step 2- 2nd verbal warning

Step 3- Phone call home

Step 4- Referral to office

Immediate Disruption: immediate removal to STAC
