What time does the Grand March and Court Presentation begin?
7:30 p.m. and will typically last about 20 minutes.
Can I bring a date who doesn't attend RAHS?
Yes, Just fill out the Guest Permission Form and return to the main office. These must be filled out by the Monday before prom.
Who gets to attend?
Juniors and seniors may attend and may be accompanied by one guest.
How do I sign up for the grand march?
You will find a link on the Grand March in your email where you can sign yourself up! There will also be QR codes posted around the school the week of prom.
Will there be refreshments?
Yes, snacks and drinks.
Is there a dress code?
This is a formal dance. Tuxedos are not required, but formalwear is expected.
Suits and ties on guys are highly encouraged. Usually ladies are wearing long gowns.
Blue jeans and sneakers are not acceptable. Baseball caps are not allowed. If you come dressed like a spectator, you'll be expected to leave with the spectators.
Can prom goers come and go as they please?
Nope. Once you're in, you're in. Once you're out, you're out. See a chaperone if you have a special issue.
Will there be a photographer?
No formal photos are being offered at the dance, only during Grand March.
There will however be a photobooth for students to use. Also, plenty of photo backgrounds available for you to hold your own photo shoot!
What is the raffle?
Every student who purchases a ticket to prom will get a raffle ticket. Students will then get to put their ticket into a drawing for the gift basket of their choice. The gift baskets have been donated by local business and the Junior Class Prom Committee! The winning tickets will be drawn at 10:15 pm. Students must be present to win the basket!
