Natural History of Wisconsin is a one semester experiential field and lab investigation-based class designed to help students gain an understanding of the dynamics and processes that have shaped the landscape and environment of Wisconsin. Students explore topics including the fundamentals of physical and structural geology, ecology, and geomorphology while gaining an appreciation for familiar landscapes, with emphasis on recreational areas accessible to the public.
