My story:
I was born and raised right here in Reedsburg on a small family run farm with my two younger brothers, Sawyer and Beau, and my parents, Don and Jodie. I graduated from Reedsburg Area High School in 2019. After high school, I attended the "Harvard of the Midwest," UW-Platteville. Over the next 5 and a half years I learned to love Southwest Wisconsin and the beautiful Driftless Region. In addition to my studies, I also played 5 years of DIII collegiate baseball at UWP. I graduated in 2024 with a degree in Social Sciences with a history emphasis, as well as a coaching minor.
One of my greatest passions is life is coaching high school athletics. I started my coaching journey all the way back in high school, when I coached youth basketball for 6 years. During my college years I got my foot in the door in high school athletics, assisting the Reedsburg boys basketball program for the better part of 3 seasons, serving as a Varsity and Junior Varsity assistant. I was then a part of the Cuba City boys basketball staff for 2 seasons, serving as the head JV2 coach and Varsity assistant. I also spent 1 season as a Varsity baseball assistant coach for Cuba City.
Outside of educating and coaching, you will find me outdoors a lot! I work for the City of Reedsburg Parks Department in the summer, and also enjoy hunting, fishing, and trapping on and around my family farm. I also am a player/assistant coach for the Reedsburg Pirates baseball club for the last 10 years.
I am very thankful and glad to be able to give back to the community that I grew up in. Go Beavers!
