My Story...
Thanks for stopping by my website. I teach 7th grade Life Science. I have been teaching in the Reedsburg School District for the past twenty three years and can't imagine doing anything else. We have great students, great teachers and parents that care. Thank you for caring the way you do.
A little history on myself for some "historical perspective. I was born and raised in Fond du Lac, WI, graduated from L.P. Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac in 1992. I love going "home" to spend time with friends, siblings and particularly my parents. My four siblings have since moved to different areas of the state. I have two sisters and two brothers.
I left "Fondy" after graduation in the fall of 1992 and took on the challenge of college academics and athletics in Chicago at Division I Northeastern Illinois University. Over the next five years I grew to love Chicago and all it offered. I attained degrees in both Biology and Secondary Education. I also completed a four-year career as a basketball player as we traveled the country competing in the Mid-Continent Conference. I concluded my stay in Chicago as I coached at Division III, Dominican University for two years and worked on campus as a Residence Hall Director while finishing my degrees.
I moved to Reedsburg in 1998, fell in love with my wife and this community and have been here ever since. Three lovable children later we continue to cherish all Reedsburg has to offer our family. Thank you to all of you who make this place what it is for Zach, McKenzie and Bo.
Family and teaching are two of my passions, however I love the outdoors. The woods and the water were meant to be played in. Sports, camping, fishing, hunting and water skiing dominate our "down" time.
