About Me....

Hello! My name is Krista Las, and the 2017/2018 school year will be my fifth year teaching at RAHS! I grew up in Reedsburg, and graduated from RAHS in 2007. After high school, I graduated from UW-Eau Claire with a Bachelors degree in Special Education-Cognitive and Learning Disabilities.

In high school, I played volleyball and basketball, and I played volleyball for a year in college. I still really enjoy playing! I participate in a winter women's league as well as a summer sand volleyball team. During my first couple of years teaching I coached the Junior Varsity Reserve team here at RAHS as well as a club team in Wisconsin Dells. Right now my life is a little busy to coach, but I may go back to it! In addition to playing volleyball, my husband and I absolutely love going to Packer and Badger games. We are huge fans of Wisconsin sports.

In August 2015, I got married to my husband Ken. He grew up in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and graduated from UW-Steven's Point with a degree in Chemistry. Currently, he works at Reedsburg Utility Commission as the Communications Supervisor.

Last summer we welcomed our beautiful daughter, BrynnLee, and a chocolate lab, Reese, to our family. We live in La Valle along with our other dog, Beau. Our lives have gotten extremely busy, but we are very excited about the additions to our family.

In addition to teaching, I am also a co-advisor to the Key Club here at RAHS. It is a great group to be a part of if you enjoy volunteering and helping out the community. If you are interested in joining please let me know.
