What is the Role of the Parent Support Group?

● Provide support to all of our students, both financially and physically.

● Be the Choraliers biggest cheerleaders!

● Help fund the group by organizing, participating and supporting group fundraisers and paying participation fees. 

● Volunteering whenever possible to help make the group fundraisers, competitions, Home Show and banquet successful. 

Board Responsibilities/Election of Officers

Responsibilities of the President Elect

● Shadows the President for a year, and then serves as the President the following year, and as Past President the year following as a support person to the new President.

Responsibilities of the President

● Organize and preside over meetings

● Oversee committee chairs to ensure they have the tools needed to make their events a success

● Answer questions or suggestions from the Parent Group.

Responsibilities of the Secretary

● 2 year position

● Writing and sending out meeting minutes

● May also include the following tasks: composing emails for the group, follow up on emails, research or other duties that are helpful to the group.
