Each year, RAHS Juniors are tested in 5 areas of college & career readiness through the ACT. These subjects include English, Math, Science, Reading, and Writing. This test is FREE to all Juniors during this Spring testing, as determined by the State of Wisconsin. The ACT is an important exam that many colleges and universities use as a component of their applications. Below are some resources that will assist you and your student as he or she nears the ACT testing date.
UPDATE: As of August 2020, ACT has updated registration and student accounts. Any student who wishes to register for an upcoming test must first migrate to a new account (if they have created a previous ACT account) or make a new account with their 8 digit ACT ID as indicated on their score reports. The below posted videos may still be helpful, but do contain outdated information as of this website change. Please contact me with any questions.

ACT Test Preparation Opportunities (provided through ACT Inc., several are FREE)
The Counseling Office has several test prep books that you may peruse- see a counselor if you are interested.
Students may take the ACT prior to the Spring testing date, but fees and testing site transportation are the students responsibility. All registration can be found through ACT's student sign in portal.
Each year, the Counselors present to the Junior Class on important information about the ACT. Please see our RAHS Counseling ACT website for more information and a copy of the important information shared (See your specific Class note).
The test is comprised of the following:
English: 75 questions – 45 minutes
Mathematics: 60 questions – 60 minutes
Reading: 40 questions – 35 minutes
Science: 40 questions – 35 minutes
Total: 215 questions
Writing: 1 prompt – 40 minutes
