About me:
I graduated from RAHS, then went on to UW-La Crosse to get my B.S. in Exercise and Sport Science where I also competed in the pentathlon and heptathlon in track and field.
I worked in fitness (as an instructor and trainer) then in the Physical Therapy setting for a number of years before I went back to school to get my Master of Science in Physical Education.
I taught elementary PE in Elizabeth, CO, middle school PE in Highlands Ranch, CO, and then moved back to Wisconsin to teach at Baraboo High School. I am so excited to be in the REEDSBURG SCHOOL DISTRICT!
I have an amazing husband who is also a PE teacher in the district, Brett Hinkhouse who teaches at Loganville and Ironton-LaValle Elementary Schools and Webb Middle School.
I have three amazing children, a son, Wynn (9 years old) and daughter, Charlee (7) and Josie (5).
I have the sweetest German short-haired Pointer named Millie and a cat, Chrissy. We recently starting raising chickens and are up to 11 chickens and 10 baby chicks.
I have coached track & field at both the collegiate & high school level both as an assistant and head and am the Girls Head coach here at RAHS.
If you need any help in the fitness/lifting/running/nutrition department, please come see me and ask me any questions!
I am passionate about all sports and look forward to watching the athletics programs grow and get better each year.
I love all things outdoors, sports, and fitness. I love to run, lift weights, hunt, fish, and be active with my family.
