TEAM RULES:
Use this space to describe the team’s rules for how you will be expected to operate within the group. (I have added some necessary rules, but please add more for your group if necessary. Feel free to add rules that may only apply to one team member.
Each team member must fulfill their individual duties every day.
Each team member must complete homework assignments as assigned.
If a team member is absent, they must contact teammates before the beginning of class and make arrangements to compensate for their absence. Absence does not eliminate the team member’s responsibilities.

Firing a Group Member:
In order to fire a group member the group must have a completed Firing Form turned in by
The steps to fire a group member - which must be documented and signed for on the Firing Form (See Appendix A) -- are:
A scheduled full group in-person meeting in which the group:
Clearly states the concerns (what the group member is/is not doing that is causing problems for the group)
Drafts the steps the group member must take to stay with the group
Date, time, attendance of the meeting must be documented on the Firing Form
All group members must sign this part of the form)
The person being considered for firing must be given at least 48 hours to address whatever the issues are
Mrs. Clausen’s presence is optional
A second scheduled full group in-person meeting in which the group:
Reviews whether the group member has met all the requirements from the first meeting.
Date, time, attendance of the meeting must be documented on the firing form
All group members must sign this part of the form.
Mrs. Clausen’s presence is optional
A full group in-person meeting schedule with Mrs. Clausen (required) before or after school or during group work time in which the group:
Presents the completed documentation
Formally request that the student be fired
If the firing is approved by the teacher then the teacher will discuss how the group will move forward and what the group will share with each other.
