There are some video tutorials explaining how they are used. Those that are strictly apps for devices will be noted and you will need to add them directly to your device through the app store on your device.

Stop motion is the free app for iPad or iPhone that is use to create stop motion movies. The free version is good for making basic stop motion vidoes.
