Ideas to practice our high frequency words (Tricky Words)...
*build the words with play dough
*look through a book or the newspaper and see how many of our sight words (words by heart) you can find in the book/newspaper
*play a game of Concentration (write the words (2 of each word) on index cards and turn them over so you cannot see the words; try to find the pairs by turning the cards over and reading and/or spelling the word turned over and doing your best to find the match; keep playing until all the cards have been read and all the pairs have been found)
*write and read the words in sugar; flour; salt
